Positive: Overall the room is cozy with a pleasant smell

Negative: When I was given a room, I was given little toilet paper. I had to beg for a towel. Although the towel should have been in the room in advance. Drinking alcohol was prohibited in the room, although this rule was not stated when we booked the hotel. The tiles in the bathroom were torn off

Positive: Boss lady speaks English well, even by telephone, and is cordial. One of 2 receptionists speaks Japanese. Wifi good - I could work. Location, near the main road but quiet.

Negative: A lamp would be nice - rather than big light or nothing.

Summary: One of the cheapest single rooms you would find in UB.

Positive: The room was small and tidy and the staff were very helpful and kind.

Negative: The room I booked was right by the front door and stairs, so there was a lot of noise from those common areas. The staff moved me to a quieter room when one became available. I recommend paying a little more to book a room with private bathroom instead of the no-bathroom single room if you need quiet.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to providing accommodation but I think they over charged for tours and airport taxi.

Negative: Quoted me 140000 for a mid afternoon taxi to the airport when the going is 100000 and I actually got it for 80000 on the way in for. the airport two weeks earlier. If you book tours or transport via City Hostel get another quote.
