Positive: Very attractive chateau with elegant, tasteful, interior and quiet, spacious grounds. Our room had its own private garden with outdoor furniture. Pleasant, largely 'traditional', French breakfast with the addition of yoghurt and cereal. Extremely secure parking.

Negative: The town/village was very quiet and the nearest restaurants were a few kilometres away (albeit at an attractive riverside location).

Summary: Traditional, elegant chateau offering 'chambre d'hôte' accomodation.

Positive: A lovely old French manor house that was smart, clean and very comfortable. Parking within the grounds was great and the lady who runs the property was very helpful with recommending a nearby restaurant and making the booking for me too. A fabulous location and my only disappointment was not being able to stay longer - I hope to be back.

Negative: There was nothing not to like.

Positive: We had a fantastic 1 night stay at Chateau de La Grand’cour. The rooms have been beautifully restored, very comfortable room and bed with everything we needed. Secure parking and our own separate entrance. Great breakfast provided in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.
