Positive: A wonderful experience from start to finish, majestic interiors, able to live amongst the incredible fittings and decor and be transported to Versailles in it’s hay day. Pool was lovely and beds incredibly comfy.

Negative: Limited choice of restaurants in the town on that particular night- but no fault of the chateau.

Summary: Bertrand was very welcoming, beautiful place, would love to stay again, friendly and relaxed vibes!

Positive: we had a wonderful stay in an amazing room with antique furniture... the large rooms on the ground floor and the staircase are simply stunning...2 days we enjoyed a french breakfast with other international guests at a large table. We enjoyed our stay very much...also the park is worth to explore...the owner and host was very kind and helpful... if you want to visit the marvelous chapel you can ask him for the key...

Positive: Unbelievable experience- huge house, lovely grounds and very friendly host. We were allowed to use swimming pool and explore the gardens. Fantastic room with lovely quirky touches and amazing views.

Positive: A taste of history not stayed anywhere quite so historic before. Definitely worth staying for a stopover. The swimming pool was very special and a decent size. Although the ambiance was really grand Bertrand made us feel both very welcome and at home. The decor was amazing we can't imagine how much it costs to keep so beautiful.
