Negative: Nothing about Chula Vista itself was well labeled. We weren’t sure initially that we arrived at the right address because it is not numbered at all. There was no staff to be found anywhere and we arrived at 5:30 at night. We finally had to ask somebody who was clearly a janitor if we were even at the right building. on the website it doesn’t say where the gym is and we finally had to walk around for a good 25 minutes until we found a room where some staff we’re working to ask where the gym was. It’s not listed anywhere on a map that we were provided with. There’s no map on the website.

Summary: It’s pretty clean, but prepare yourself to put a lot of energy into trying to figure out where things are.

Positive: I loved the location. It wasn't too far from the Dells, so we could take a quick drive there, but far enough away from the tourist hustle and bustle. I also liked having a full kitchen to make our own meals. The kids had a separate room, and the king suite was perfect for my husband and myself. Also, having the jacuzzi in the room didn't disappoint. The kids were in it as often as we would let them. The indoor waterpark, which we bought separate passes for, was AMAZING. It was big enough to have a great variety, but small enough that we felt comfortable letting our 9 and 11 year old roam. We were there from open to close and used the underground walkway to go back and forth to our room. I liked the self-service aspect of this room. We didn't have to "check-in," and we're able to show up when we wanted after 4 pm.

Negative: There were mainly basic utensils in the kitchen, cups, plates, bowls, silverware, simple pots, and pans. So, we did have to buy a couple of things we forgot. The chairs at the table were very hard and almost vinyl like, which makes sense for a waterpark resort but left a bit to be desired when sitting at the table. We also didn't have a spare sheet for the couch bed, so we had to use an extra blanket. The negative of the self-service was that we didn't quite know where our room was, so we had to do a bit of wandering when we first got there. All and all, the dislikes were more could be better, but no big deal things.

Positive: Everything was great! Fry pans were scratched bad so couldn't use them that would be the only thing that was bad. Thankyou for a beautiful place to spend family time. The view in the back of resort was amazing!!
