Summary: Great location in the heart of Gananoque. Short walking distance to all restaurants, walking trails, waterfront. The Chrysler House is a historical building but is beginning to show its age ( no pun intended). The bathroom tile grout in the room we stayed needs to be cleaned/bleached to restore the grout back to white. Antique carpet in hallway stained and frayed. The in window AC unit’s power cord runs across passage way to closet causing a potential tripping hazard.

Summary: It is close to shopping , restaurants and walking paths. The single bed in the Heritage room needs replacing as it really squeeks so any little movement in the night wakes everyone up.

Summary: First the positive; it's a great location if you're taking one of the thousand island boat cruises. The docks are only a 5 minute walk away. The negatives; this is not a B&B, as there are no meals offered. Having said that, the room rate is less than nearby B&Bs. We stayed in the Garden room on the main floor which is in need of a refurbishment. The bed was fine, but there is no TV and the furnishings are pretty much at the end of their usefulness. The owners purchased this property at the beginning of 2020 so perhaps Covid derailed any plans that they may have had to do a makeover. However, it's been 5 years now and there are many other B&B options in town to choose from.
