Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Anydroi. The location is stunning — set in the mountains, surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views of the sea. It’s only a 10-minute drive to Palaiochora, but it feels like a peaceful retreat away from everything. The balcony was absolutely amazing, the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. Christos welcomed us warmly upon check-in, even treating us to drinks at Scolio cafe, which was such a thoughtful touch. Diane was also lovely — she made us feel completely at home from the very beginning. She was so welcoming, kind, and genuine, and her warmth gave the whole stay a very personal and comfortable feeling. This place is a real gem, and we’d love to return! Positive: It's an exceptional place , such an awesome location with a magnificent panorama of the mountains and the sea!! Our cottage was very cosy , comfortable and full of light.It's also very private,you practically don't see or hear the neighbours. Thanks to mosquito screens on the windows we could keep them wide open and there was a great air flow in the cottage , we didn't need aircon. Our kitchen was well equiped and the saucepans and pans are really good quality. We also loved the possibility of early morning hiking right from the doorstep on one of Chania trails to Azogires , the landscape is very special and powerful. The road to Paleochora is easy and Paleochora itself is a lovely place with lots of ambience and blue flag beaches great for swimming.Extra bonus for vegetarians - really good vegetarian restaurant ThirdEye. Special thanks to the owners for a very generous welcome fresh fruit bowl and to the super nice English maintenance woman. We spent there 10 days and definately could stay longer.

Negative: the water pressure in the shower is quite weak but there is a really good outdoor shower , we loved it.

Positive: Very pleasant place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. It was clean and the garden was very private. The hike to the beach via the wonderful Anidri gorge is just wonderful. To be that close, just a few minutes walk, to one of the absolute best tavernas in Crete, Sto Scolio, was very much appreciated. A big thank you to the friendly hosts, Simone and Christos, who made our stay a real pleasure.

Positive: What a beautiful and special villa! Set on a hill side overlooking the sea, this property did not disappoint! Clean and modern. The accommodations were excellent and even more amazing in person. Lots of hiking and easy access to the to the beach. We truly loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. This is the perfect place for someone looking for a quiet secluded vacation spot. It is low key and relaxing. The food at the nearby taverna was EXCELLENT!! The staff was very friendly.
