Summary: I would definitely stay at hotel Christiania again. It is an old school, Bavarian style small hotel. Very quaint. The staff is as helpful and nice as they can be. The location is perfect because it is right on the edge of Vail Village, so you are just a few minutes from anywhere you want to be on foot, yet it’s quiet. The Mountain View room I had, was more like a partial Creek view room. The mountain is behind all the trees, so you don’t really see it. But it was great to have the sound of the Creek through the open windows. And you do need to open your windows! Even though the daytime highs didn’t reach 60, and overnight lows were in the 40s, it can be warm, so open your windows upon arriving, to cool it down for night. A great stay, especially for the reasonable rate.

Summary: We loved our stay here. Very charming lodge. Pleasant and kind staff. They even let us check in early. We could walk everywhere in Vail Village and ~ 10-15 minutes to Lionshead. Great restaurants and shopping close by. Parking was $25/day off season and directly across from the lodge. The pool was clean and the water was warm. Relaxing. Only note is that the bar was closed and breakfast was not available during our stay. Think they said no breakfast off season and the bartender was on vacation. Regardless, we enjoyed and will stay again. Thank you!

Summary: The front desk attendants were very kind and helped with my bags. I also enjoyed the heated pool. I wish there had been a clothes steamer and microwave in the room, but the hot shower and cozy space helped offset.
