Positive: The rooms were rustic but new and very clean. The facilities (kitchenette and bathroom) were clean and provided the basics we needed to cook our own meals.

Negative: The mosquito net wasn’t a great fit for the bed for full protection. The road was rough like the normal roads, but watch out for the thorn bushes!

Positive: Martin (the owner) is a fantastic guy: he managed to create a remonte self sufficient place surrounded by nature. One can see the elephants everyday at the pond. The tents are very comfy and have a direct view on the pond The lodge is ideally located between kasane and Savuti. Cherry on the cake: Martin is always helpfull and has good advices. Thank you Martin for those wonderful 4 days.

Positive: The lodges provided an excellent view of wild elephants drinking at the nearby water-hole and gave a real insight into elephant behaviour. The owner was exceeding helpful and knowledgeable about the local wildlife. The lodges themselves were exceptional with excellent kitchen facilities.

Positive: View directly on the waterhole - two elephant families came to visit it at night. You park next to your treehouse. Please mind in terms of food it is fully self catering. In terms of equilement: they do NOT have a fridge, but do have cutlery, gas, pans, plates, water supply, below the house.

Positive: Martin, as the owner of that beautiful wilderness cottage , camp side and his helpful assistant, we`re so helpful , with sense of humor , to be a part of real wilderness, ready fireplace for deserved braai time, admiring time for starry sky ,tremendous standstill , night hyena scream ..... area absolutely amazing !! Only my boldness and Martin`s firm help, allow me, to reach that remote area with my unsuitable rented car - Toyota Starlet :-)
