Summary: I had a very pleasant stay at Chimneys. A lovely old house, despite it being on a main road into town (15 min walk) it was very quiet. I had a cosy room with the usual amenities, a nice view and a private bathroom across the hall. There is a good choice of breakfasts, and they'll do their best if you have any special requirements. Suhel (Manager) was very welcoming and breakfast was ready when I went to the dining room (time & breakfast choice was arranged whilst I signed-in) I was free to come & go as I pleased and encouraged to treat it as my home.

Summary: Comfortable clean, very close to city centre without the noise of being right in the middle. Owner stayed up very late to welcome me in. Breakfast was lovely both days. Will definitely come back when next in the area.

Summary: Pleased to find somewhere to stay at late notice after being turned away from another guest house. Bring driving licence or passport with you, owner asked for photo ID, something which may become the norm at other guest houses in future. Was also asked for £150 deposit which is immediately refunded when handing keys back.

Summary: Had a really nice stay at Chimneys. Great service, loved the view from the room and really enjoyed the Asian breakfast I chose from the options. Cant fault it, and will return if back in the area. Thanks!
