Positive: This location was very quiet and very clean. The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful. It is a very large unit and a great price. I loved that I could cook for myself and didn't feel crammed into a little hotel room.
Negative: It is a very simple design. Do not expect a 5 star hotel. Think more like a great airbnb or staying at a friend or family members mother in law unit. I will definitely stay again! Maybe next time I'll bring the family.

Positive: “The location was optimal for us, as we needed to stay in that neighborhood. It’s also close to downtown San Mateo, which can be reached by car or bike. The apartment is spacious, and is ok for 4 people. The beds are comfortable. The host was very kind and promptly answered our questions.”
Negative: “The backyard is spacious, but unfortunately, it’s not well-maintained. Additionally, during our stay, there were sewer malfunction repairs with excavations and construction materials. We didn’t have any issues with the repairs, but we never invited our grandchildren because the place wasn’t safe. The host informed us about the repairs only a few days after our arrival, not before. “One last problem is the refrigerator, so small that it can barely hold the necessary items for breakfast for 2 people”. There’s no dishwasher.”

Positive: Quiet location, basics, and market within 10mts walk. San Mateo downtown in 10mts drive. And you can drive to SFO or Paolo Alto in 30mts. Good kitchen and living area. Great ppty managers are on call to help, to go beyond the usual. Good open yard for kids, barbecue, or to lounge under sun. Will certainly come back for our next trip.
