The farmhouse has all new bathrooms, gorgeous en suite with jacuzzi tub, and a chefs kitchen with granite countertops, fully stocked with cookware. Summary: My a cappella group rented it for the weekend for a retreat. We had plenty of room to do all our rehearsing. The pictures are pretty accurate. The house is lovingly decorated. The two full baths are very spacious, as is the master bedroom closet. It could be converted to a bedroom with an air mattress! We also loved the scenery. Having the horses in their paddocks surrounding the house was serene. There was some confusion with the check-in because VRBO sent us an email 3 days in advance in which we expected to see instructions. Instead it said to contact the owner, but when we did, we were told that the information wasn't give out until 24 hours in advance. She gave it to us, but we felt like we bothered her. Some things that could be better include updating the kitchen with a new dishwasher, which we didn't use because it was dirty and smelly, and adding a full-size microwave. The showers also appeared to be dirty, but it was hard to tell with the color and texture of the floors. The room with two beds doesn't get much air, so be prepared to use the floor fan in the house in that room. Don't count on the sleeper sofa in the loft for use as a bed. It's not in good shape. We brought an airbed, just in case, and used that instead. The most serious issues are the entrances, which all have stone steps. The ground is very uneven and overgrown. Three of our girls fell, and one broke her foot. Another one fell on trash bags, which broke and had to be cleaned up. BE CAREFUL!!

Summary: Overall the property worked perfectly for our needs. The house itself was clean and well equipped. The 4-stars for cleanliness is the result of several serving pieces being dirty and had to be washed prior to use. This was a minor inconvenience. The lower rating for accuracy is due to others occupying the property. The house functions like a duplex. Again this was minor. The house is beautiful inside and several of the appliances were practically brand new (the lower oven didn’t look like it had been used yet). The host is easy to work with and very responsive. Also, the binder with the house information really was useful. The setting is amazing and serene. The horses are beautiful and fun to watch. The location is perfectly situated between both casinos.

Summary: This property is picture-perfect and super close to Foxwoods. Also very close to Mystic. My friends and I went to see a show at Foxwoods and wanted to explore for a girl's getaway. We traveled from Massachusetts and NY so it was a great meeting point and the property listing is spot on. This house is so nice and super clean. Air conditioning, fans, bedding and basically stocked with anything you will need. It was a quick 5-minute Uber ride or drive back and forth from Foxwoods. We cooked breakfasts and a great dinner one evening in this beautiful kitchen and dining area and the house has so many cute spaces to sit and chat, laugh, watch tv.. whatever you need. Amazing bathrooms and showers - It was a perfect girls' getaway and I highly recommend it. This owner communicated in a timely manner and was there for any questions. #PERFECTSTAY! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We can't wait to book another trip!

Summary: We stayed here for our annual family gathering ! 12 of us! Plenty of space to spread out, upstairs loft area was a comfortable spot for kids to hang out. Wonderful open kitchen space and huge table to play games and share meals! Surrounded by a beautiful horse farm and only 2 miles to Foxwoods for a fun outing!
