Summary: Our time at elephant Friends in Mae Wang was excellent. It was all that we expected and more. The staff is very attentive and polite. Be prepared to walk a bridge from the reception area to your room! It's actually quite cool. I had expected it since I saw it on a YouTube video. However, they will also let you know that as well. If you're expecting the city scape, this is not the place for you! This is rural living at its finest! River flowing, mountains in the landscape, trees, and oh, elephants! Those huge gentle animals. You can see that they are content! You will not be disappointed if you choose this place as a destination.

Summary: It was an extremely relaxing atmosphere, staff were very friendly and helpful. There were multiple things to do and the accommodations were great. My only addition would be in room coffee. There was a hot water pot, but no beverage package.

Summary: This place is fantastic! The staff were lovely. The beds were worse than sleeping on the floor. I've never had such a hard bed in my life. The cabins are outdated. But I can't get over the pain of the beds. Literally like sleeping on rocks. I'd recommend visiting but not staying over or if you do one night max for the elephant wake up. It was a lovely place so I feel bad not giving 5 stars but need to be accurate in my review.

Summary: Just Wow! We had an amazing stay at Elephant Friends Resort. Our bungalow was right in the river. Very comfortable beds. Everything you need! The staff was amazing and restaurant food excellent. We did the bamboo river rafting which we loved!!! Then the morning of our departure the elephants came for breakfast. Just a magical experience. I highly recommend this resort. And the elephants are well cared for ❤️
