Located in the very heart of Lisbon old town, on Travessa da Larenjeira (Street of the orange trees), this 60 sqm, sunny third floor apartment sits in a traditional and well kept building (no elevator).
It has been completely renovated and refurbished in November 2015, and decorated with an eye for detail.
It comprises a lobby, a spacious and always sunny living-room/dining area.
It will accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms : 2 equipped with a double bed, one with 2 twin-beds that are reunited.
The kitchen is fully equipped : large fridge/freezer, induction stove, oven/Mo, dishwasher, washing/drying machine, Nespresso machine, toaster, boiler and all the kitchenware needed to cook a beautiful meal for your family or your friends.
The bathroom has an Italian shower and a constant supply of hot water. Comes in handy for a group of friends or a big family!
There is Wi-Fi, cable television and laundry/ironing facilities.

Santa Catarina/Bica, the oldest and most scenic neighbourhood of Lisbon, is as well the most central you can imagine :
It's just a few steps from Bairro Alto, a stomping ground of lively bars and restaurants.
It's 2 minutes away from Chiado (Baixa-Chiado metro station, Praca do Camoes), one of this city’s most notorious shopping quarters,
It's 5 minutes away from Cais do Sodre (check it's market). Well a bit more on the way back, as streets are steep here!
It's a 10-minute walk from Rossio or Principe Real.
The most photographed street of Lisbon, Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo, is literally 20 meters from our doorstep. There, you will never get tired of watching Bica's funicular, Lisbon's spirit at it's best.
The mix in Santa Catarina is also fascinating : there is a Hermes flagship store, and an old and tiny shoe store just around!
The many restaurants, bars, galleries, shops, theaters and museums to choose from within a 5 minutes radium won't leave you with much time on your hands!
The area has got everything. From grocery shops to butchers, pharmacies bookstores and gift shops.

Here are a few things I would recommend in the neighbourhood :
Start with a coffe at Cafe Brasileira. In this beautiful old place, you will feel the vibes of long gone Portuguese poets and writers.
Ride the Tram 28 (catch it up the street!), an amazing ride around the city (for just the price of a regular tram ticket).
Check the view at Miradouro Sta Catarina.
Go to a local place for lunch Praca de Camoes), and ask for a Bifana (sandwich with a very thin steak inside. To be eaten with mustard!)
To head to the beach just walk down the road and jump on a train at the Cais do Sodré Train Station.
Many local good and cheap restaurants in our neighbourhood.
Metro Baixa Chiado is a 5-minute walk to our flat.

Either the metro or a taxi (they are cheap, and the ride won't excess 20 euros for 4).

Summary: We had a great time in Lisbon and enjoyed our stay in this condo. As others have mentioned, there’s no elevator so be ready for stairs! (And all of Lisbon is uphill so it’s a great workout). The condo was spacious with 3 bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay

Summary: Charles flat was great for us (5 friends) : Spacious, bright, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Neighborhood is amazing and just what you would imagine and expect from Lisbon. Very central too, as Baixa Chiado metro station is just around. Best experience so far on the site.

Summary: We booked Charles' apartment for a stay with some friends here in Lisbon. Booking online was easy and quick. Charles was immediately in touch, and answered our many queries (he is fluent in English). Check in was smooth and well organized. Very clean flat, newly renovated and decorated with taste Kitchen is very well equipped with all you need. Dishwasher, washing machine and freezer (for the ice!) definitely a plus. 3 bedrooms with large double beds. Good WiFi. That was important for us, as we had to plan the rest of our trip and book train tickets and places. Small bathroom by American standards but good shower with plenty of hot water and a window. The neighborhood is central as it gets and the perfect base to explore the city. We loved the Bica tram, just around the corner. So old and unique! Many restaurants, cafes and little bars nearby. To make it short, we loved our stay here, and would definitely recommend Charles apartment!! PS : Make sure you pack some good walking shoes...

Summary: My husband and I booked this apartment for a holiday in Lisbon with my parents, brother and his girlfriend and had a really great experience. The apartment is lovely - everything has been newly renovated and is modern and spotless. The bathroom is small but brand new and comfortable (with a little view of the rooftops of Lisbon from the shower!). The kitchen is brand new too and fully equipped, even with a washing/drying machine which we really appreciated. There are three bedrooms, which was perfect for us and not easy to find - each room is really lovely, we all loved the style and decoration of the apartment (which is just like in the pictures). We had a heatwave of 38 degrees when we stayed but the apartment is full of windows and light and was lovely and cool with a breeze the whole time (fans are also provided but we didn't even need them). The neighbourhood is just great - you couldn't be more in the heart of Lisbon but it still retains a really typical local feel. There is a great local butcher just up the street, a supermarket and Charles told us about a bakery (typical and old school!) on Rua da Rosa where we went to buy fresh bread early every morning (only a few minutes walk). The Bica funicular is seconds away and runs up and down the neighbouring street from the city to the river (also close to the Ribeira food market, which is a must visit for lunch and a glass of vino!!). Baixa Chiado is just minutes away too, and is full of elegant plazas and old, beautiful cafes, we loved to go there for a drink. There is also a lookout called Santa Catarina a few minutes away, beautiful in the evening to sit with a drink and look over the river. Everything in the city is in easy walking distance from the apartment - we were thrilled with the location and felt we couldn't have chosen a better base. Heaps of local restaurants are also located all around the apartment, cheap and good Portuguese food! Charles was a great host, really responsive and organised everything perfectly with no fuss. We had a great trip and loved the apartment. Highly recommend and would book again!!
