Positive: The location was stunning and Patrick was a super host, the animals were lovely too

Negative: There was nothing we did not like, you need to bring slippers with you and get Patrick to show you how to light the oven.

Summary: Easy access but very rural with a lovely pool and gym and a charming host

Positive: It is a beautiful place with nicely arranged details. Very quiet and comfortable. There is also plenty of space to park your car. Patrick is the most friendly guy and very helpful. The sleeping rooms are very large and offer at least 4 adults enough space to stay overnight. Additionally, there is a sleeping sofa in the living room (if more beds are needed). The place is a bit remote, and it will take you some 15 mins by car to get to the next grocery store. Some people will surely consider this an advantage, but I mention it here, just in case this isn't for you. All in all, it was a great pleasure to stay at Chez Miquelot, and it is easy to recommend it even for longer periods.

Negative: Due to the structure of the old barn, this is built in, the height of the door to one of the sleeping rooms is very low (a bit more than 1 meter). For young people, this is just a curiosity, but for elderly people, this might be an issue to consider.
