Positive: Nice decorations, recently refurbished. Easy off street parking. Lovely garden. Close to local vineyards and good for visiting vineyards in the upper Médoc. Host allowed us to check in slightly early which was appreciated.

Negative: The toilet is in the same space as the bed with a partial height door to separate it. This means that there is not much privacy when using the toilet which may be an issue for some couples. The space is cosy but may feel small if you have a lot of baggage. The space was also very hot (albeit in a hot period), but a small fan was provided.

Summary: Pleasant and good value accommodation in the Médoc.

Positive: A beautiful and comfortable room in a lovely restored building. We liked the fruit and the large selection of teas and coffee. There was the option to pay for breakfast and dinner, the food looked very good but we had made other plans in advance. The local area has many, many gorgeous chateaus and vineyards.
