Positive: Extremely helpful host, who also explained a lot about the region and its history. Great rooms, and a stunning views of the valley and mountains.

Negative: The last 4 or 5 km up to the property are unmetalled, but the road is in good condition, and broad enough for two vehicles.

Positive: We had such an amazing time at Chestnut Hill! With beautiful mountain views and delicious meals, staying at Chestnut Hill was a perfect escape where we had everything we needed. Each night of our stay, Geri cooked us fabulous vegetarian meals with fresh and local ingredients. When our car broke down an hour from the guesthouse, Geri arranged a taxi for us, had our car repaired, and helped us communicate with our rental agency. Staying at Chestnut Hill was by far a highlight of our time in Albania!

Positive: We liked everything! The cozy room, the gorgeous environment, the host's kindness, the amazing food. Truly it's the best stays we've had in a good while. Would definitely return!

Negative: We have to mention here that the last 5km to the guesthouse may seem jarring for some. Don't give up, just go slow and all will be fine. (The host is trying to fix the road)
