Positive: Perfect location for us as a base for visiting and entertaining friends in the area. Close to all amenities. Spacious yet cosy. Very comfortable with everything you need in a home.

Negative: Only thing would be the shower. Needs a shower mat and handles as it's high-sided and gets slippery.

Positive: Spacious and multiple spaces for our family to spend time with each other, like our teenagers and adults. My grandson loved the room near the pool. We all called it the “colour room”.

Negative: Going up and down the stairways, but I am 52.

Positive: Beds were comfortable. Oven worked well Useful being close to Lidl Central for visiting north and south coasts

Negative: Lack of good internet connection - irritating when trying to watch tv that signal kept being lost. Front bedroom noisy from main road with window open. Bottom bunk bed squeaks. Mattresses are badly stained. No food bin bags, no rinse aid, no soap in bathroom, very little toilet paper. These are basic amenities that we would have expected to be there. No instructions on recycling - didn’t seem to be anywhere to recycle glass. Conflicting instructions between Sykes and Booking.com. Never received responses from the owner to our questions.

Summary: Nice place, but wouldn’t stay again.

Negative: Pool covered and unable to be used. It was winter though.

Negative: Compared to my last visit 2 years ago, the decor looks in need of refreshing. Sadly noticed mattresses in all rooms were stained, urine? Only noticed when stripping the beds as requested at end of our stay. Although it looked presentable there was a lot of dust, especially in the bathroom where all the ceramics looked in need of a good washing down
