Positive: Great location between everything but with bars and restaurants nearby. Very hospitable host family who were very keen to help my stay in Ninh Binh as good as possible. Great breakfast and used the laundry service. Would recommend and return.

Positive: Lovely friendly host family who made sure we were well looked after. Excellent location for visiting the area as it is between Trang An, Tam Coc and Hoa Lu and within walking distance of Hang Mua (15 mins). Much quieter than staying in Hoa Lu or Tam Coc. Free bicycles are available and we used these to visit Trang An, Tam Coc and the Ancient City, all within easy cycling distance. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Lovely friendly little homestay in good location.

Positive: Cherry homestay was a great place to stay. Room was clean and host was very friendly. Cherry was willing to help us book transportation to and from her homestay. She made everything super easy for us. Breakfast in the morning was also quite good. She also gives recommendations on places to go while we were there. We enjoyed our stay here although it was short. Would consider booking again if ever in the area in the future.

Positive: Everything was great. The location is convenient and the host is super friendly. Room matched the foto.

Negative: We got windy and rainy weather, which made the room very noisy at night. It is not very sound-proof. We slept ok (tired after the flight), but the sound can be disturbing. Other than that - perfectly recommend!

Positive: Such a lovely place!!! Cherry was so so nice and helpful with everything, she gave us lots of advice about what to do and see. The breakfast was really nice and the room was lovely and clean (though the mattresses are a tiny bit hard but we didn’t mind!). The location was great for cycling around with the free bikes and seeing all the sights.

Positive: Very welcoming and friendly owner. Was welcomed with smile and plenty of information for everything I needed to maximize my stay. Bikes available and scooter rentals can be made onsite. Fresh cooked breakfast every morning, multiple options to choose from. Room had great view of surrounding landscape and was comfortable and clean. Mua Cave is walkable from homestay, and many restaurants line the street for easy access to food, snacks and drinks. Family was so welcoming and helpful, would recommend for anyone looking to stay in a bit quieter location with easy access to Trang An sights, and a quick ride through the rice fields to the action in Tam Coc.

Negative: It is a proper homestay, which was my preference in the area. You are in a bit more rural area with a few dogs and chickens at night/early morning. But its Vietnam and there is never real quiet, and given the hustle and bustle of Tam Coc, was very suitable for those looking for a quiet stay.

Summary: Very warm and welcoming family, great area for those looking for a quieter stay in the area.
