Positive: We had a great stay at Cherokee Inn, the owners were very nice. The room was clean and perfect for relaxing after a day at the salt mines. The hotel is in a great location with a gas station and dollar store across the street. The beds were comfortable (pillows not so much) and were perfect.
Negative: It was a little off putting that when we arrived we found out that the hotels cable was out and we were not able to use the TV the entire stay. We found out after spending 10 minutes trying to get it to work. It would have been nice to be notified when checking in or even given a small rate reduction on the room. Also the pillows could be updated.

Positive: It had a good price and comfy pillows
Negative: AC was not very good and there was no TV service. We had to go buy a Roku stick to watch anything and they did not tell us about it when we checked in.

Negative: The rooms could be cleaner, the beds could be less stiff, the tvs should be mounted so people in the 2 bed rooms can actually enjoy the TV when in use.

Positive: Owner was extremely nice and welcoming I showed up at almost 9pm and the light was off but he came out and greeted me and was very welcoming. Had everything we needed to clean up and sleep after a long day at the salt plains.

Positive: The owner was very accommodating with our late booking and arrival. Rooms are spacious, very clean, and quiet area. There is a dollar general and convenient store across the street. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
Negative: I have nothing bad to say about our experience here.
