Positive: Idyllic setting. Period features. Chess board and board games in library were great.

Negative: It would have been good if the open fires were lit and there were bar staff. More food options onsite would have been great, especially since there is no transport or footpaths into town. The king bed was actually 2 king singles pushed together, we would have liked one mattress.

Summary: Romantic setting but not a lot to do.
