Positive: The pool was very nice (and heated). Comfortable room. The Bistrot down the road was excellent

Negative: Forgot to mention at check out but the water was only like warm in the bathroom in the morning. Very poor for such an establishment. Maybe bad luck with the timing but the gardeners were mowing, stimming and blowing the grass round the pool in the afternoon when most guests were there which was irritating. Never had such an expensive glass of cognac.

Summary: Beautiful place, nice staff, comfortable room, excellent pool area, very expensive, no hot water in the morning

Positive: The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, creating a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The hotel restaurant was a true highlight. While certainly on the expensive side, the overall experience justified the price: the service was outstanding, the food was of top quality, and thoughtful touches such as complimentary amuse-bouches from the kitchen added to the experience. The ambience was elegant and inviting, making it a memorable dining experience and, overall, good value for money. The hotel’s location is quite remote, which can be a major advantage if you are looking to relax and disconnect. It is an ideal setting for unwinding, whether that means reading a book, taking peaceful walks through the beautiful park, or simply enjoying the calm surroundings.

Negative: That said, considering the price of €530 per night (over a weekend), I expected a more all-inclusive and seamless experience. It was disappointing that only one hour of spa access was included, with additional time charged separately. Breakfast was not included in the rate, and parking was charged at an additional €20, which felt excessive. Even small details, such as the spa bag being sold for €20 rather than offered as a complimentary amenity, contributed to the impression of excessive extra charges.
