Positive: It was a beautiful Château from the outside, but was very tired and needing some updates. The property owner was not there during our day, but her son was very helpful with lots of good recommendations and tips about the area.

Negative: The bed was very comfortable, but the bedroom we stayed in could have used some TLC. There was an odour in the room that smelled like cats.

Positive: An authentic country chateau stay in a building with a long lived history, located in a quiet location on the rural edge of town. The interiors of the chateau held a rich family history and expressed an authentic feel and character. A wonderful and generous hostess made our stay memorable. The breakfast was something to linger over and enjoy.

Positive: Breakfast was wonderful with local food and good service. Our berdroom was huge and lovely. I would recommend this venue to others.

Negative: Maybe a second relaxing chair in the bedroom. Otherwise it was perfect.

Positive: Lovely unique middle-age small chateau with real character and ambience. Quiet location near the fantastic town of Le Puy en Velay. Lovely generous host. Accommodation is bed and breakfast style. Rustic furniture. The breakfasts were generously superb.
