Negative: For this amount of money, there is no water, no breakfast included. The cabins are OK, but nothing special. Ours would need a small update. The guy selling some fast fast around the corner has his very bright ads lights on most of the evening so you can’t even see stars properly (light pollution). I wouldn’t stay there again

Positive: It’s a great location and the experience is unique. I liked watching the stars at night and the tent is a great experience, beds were very comfortable. We did a short tour with Aigerim (supervisor Beksultan) and she was very sweet. She handled it well.

Negative: This is really a camp, despite the fancy outlook. When we arrived the toilet was dirty (and far from the tents) and we learned there was only one shower (which was worse than when we stayed at a yurt) so this was quite annoying. None of the toilet and shower doors were a me to close/lock. At the restaurant they also charge a 15% service fee, which is a bit high considering the already high price for the food. But the food is tasty. In the end we managed since we are used to camping, but just be mindful the facilities are very limited.

Positive: The view was stunning from the chalets and I love the interior design of the cabins with the burnt orange and wood. It was so peaceful to be at the canyon at night. Zhambyl and Bexultan were also great.

Positive: staying inside the Charyn Canyon is the only way to really feel how pretty, ancient, quiet and cultured it is. Nice hospitality, clean and supportive crew. Wonderful phenomenal. Highly recommended!
