Summary: Other than no cell service and not the best WIFI signal, it is excellent for people who want to have an off the grid getaway. It’s great for quality time with your loved ones. Very peaceful and quiet! The creek next to the rooms is the perfect touch! Bring some extra wood for the fireplace or purchase some nearby.

Summary: Bottled water was provided that was adequate for our stay for drinking purposes. But I would like to have known in advance of booking this property that the water was not safe to drink. The property is nicely located on a creek with rapids and staff was helpful.

Summary: This property was nice. No internet, spotty Wi-Fi, and no TV it gives you plenty of piece and quite to sit and listen to the stream outside the door and to reconnect with your thoughts and spouse.

Summary: We had recently visited Roan Mountain State Park and wanted to return while in town for the Bristol NASCAR races. We found this beautiful little quaint place right between the two and was so pleasantly surprised! The property has several separate rentals, all of which are stunning vacation options. We stayed in the top chalet #5. It was quaint and secluded and the scenery was second to none. We were able to leave the windows and screened doors open overnight and listen to the rushing of the stream and waterfalls outside the room. Location feels like miles away from anything but is close to several attractions.and towns in all directions. We were able to meet the owners during our stay, delightful and very accommodating. We will definitely return.
