The estate features a charming 100 m² Vendée farmhouse, renovated in 2023, and a spacious 200 m² barn, fully renovated in 2017, both surrounded by a private pool nestled in nature, away from prying eyes.
The farmhouse, typical of the Vendée, offers four large rooms, including three 12 m² bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people. It also includes a kitchen, a bathroom, and separate toilets. Each room provides direct access to a 140 m² south-facing terrace that overlooks the pool.
The barn, which can accommodate 8 people, is divided into two separate sleeping areas. Each side has two bedrooms, a bathroom, toilets, and a second living room with a central fireplace. The living areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and lounge, are south-facing and open onto a large shaded terrace.
Meals can be enjoyed outdoors under the barn's pergola or indoors around a large table, both seating up to 14 people. For families with young children, all necessary equipment is provided (changing tables, baby bathtub, high chairs).

Summary: The properties have been beautifully renovated. There is lots of space and a lovely outside area with views over the surrounding countryside. The children loved the pool and outdoor space and there is lots to do in the local area. Sallertaine is a pretty village where you can canoe and hire bikes and there are beaches about 15/20 minutes away.

Summary: Quiet location but only 5mins drive from resteraunts and supermarkets. Villa was spotless and very well looked after. Stunning views to the rear and perfect for a large family home away from home. Pool was amply sized for our group and again very well kept, clean and maintained! The owner was readily available if needed. We will certainly be looking to go back again!!

Summary: Several families staying here spread across both houses. The main house is beautifully done. Pool was perfect to cool down in. Unspoilt views. Great location 5 mins from small local village with great restaurant or 8/10 mins to main Challans town, 20 mins from beaches. Would recommend

Summary: We had a wonderful stay and particularly enjoyed the lovely indoor and outdoor living spaces in and around the main house.The pool was a real hit with our grandchildren. The location was very peaceful with nice views across the surrounding fields.

Summary: A perfect holiday in total privacy. The pool was wonderful. The gite is comfortable with everything you need in the kitchen, a fire to keep warm if needed, plenty of space for us two, might be a little cramped with more people. Wifi was reliable. Our host was friendly and available if needed which we didn't. We had towels provided, and everything you need for basic housekeeping which, when self-catering, saves bringing it all with you! Supermarket 5 minutes away, beach 20 minutes. Lovely area to explore, fascinating wildlife. We would return.
