Positive: Such a clean and comfortable place. Had all the ammenities including washing machine, kitchen equipment/supplies, luggage rack and hooks+ shelves everywhere you need them. I appreciated that the nice linens/towels did not have any scent of bleach or fabric softener. Chairs in front and back to enjoy cup of tea in the morning. Location convenient to get on freeway and/or walk into town. Just a few minutes to county fairgrounds. Good communication with host.

Negative: Driveway a little tricky but we were happy to have the onsite parking

Positive: The location was perfect for us. It was close to our family. The cottage has all of the comforts of home, is clean and tastefully decorated.

Negative: Instructions that the front door handle that locks, is not controlled by the door code.

Summary: We had a very comfortable stay. The cottage is the perfect size for 2-4 people and close to downtown

Positive: The host was amazing. I could not get the Booking app to work on my phone to get the key code for the door and was able to call her for the information. Which she emailed me directly and texted the info too.

Negative: The Booking app is crap for android phones. I could not get into the section to get the door key code. There was no email sent to my gmail account from Booking with the sign in instructions for the door. Only got reservation info nothing else. Ended up having to call the host directly for assistance. I have had this same issue before. It works on my laptop but not my phone. I do not take my laptop with on all trips.

Summary: Fantastic place to stay. Walking distance to all the fun stuff (restaurants, shops, pubs) in town.

Positive: Great location. The cottage listing photos were perfectly accurate. Heating and cooling were easy to use. Linens and towels were great.

Negative: Parking was difficult for our Honda Pilot. Got off the street but with difficulty. Paper Towels and TP were in very short supply and we had to go out for more during our stay. Mini Blind operators on two windows need repair, so couldn't let sunlight in.

Summary: We come to Grass Valley often and would be pleased to stay here again!

Positive: It was close enough to walk to downtown , but also a quiet area. Kitchen had baking pans and beautiful dishes to make dining in easy. New appliances and a gas grill on back patio. Front porch was shaded but nice also.

Negative: Some microwave safe casserole dishes would be handy to have. Price was high for April. Although everything has gone UP!

Summary: Enjoyed our stay to visit our granddaughter.
