A real * Norman manor with pool in the heart of the Auge, facing south and surrounded by flowering terraces and a park of 7 hectares.
The house consists of a ground floor an entrance hall, lounge / dining room (flat screen TV, stereo, board games and WiFi available) with a spectacular view of the valley and sunset, a fireplace Cathedral, a fully equipped kitchen
1st floor, 2 double bedrooms, a children's bedroom (bunk beds), a laundry, a bathroom with tub / double sinks and separate toilet.
2nd floor, 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with tub & sink, a shower room and separate toilet.
All rooms face south.
The park is fully enclosed and access is via an automated gate, remotely controlled.
Facilities: Two terraces overlooking valley or park view (tables & chairs, barbecue, children's bicycles, ping-pong). A swimming pool (12m x 5m) heated and seasonal situated close to the house (pool house and sun loungers).

Summary: This has been the best family holiday we have ever had, everyone had freedom to enjoy themself, I havent heard the family laugh so much together in a long time. The children loved the pool, the outside spaces and the inter action with the animals, Nicolas was was the putfect host and coulld not do enought fro us

Summary: All three generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this traditional Normandy farm house. The well equipped property has an excellent swimming pool and the house is characteristically rustic, warm and comfortable. The setting is private with great views across surrounding countryside and the very large garden is surrounded by fenced fields where sheep graze and hens and geese feed. Supermarkets and a host of other shops are nearby in the attractive town of Pont l'Eveque. The owner lives nearby and is warm and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended as a multigenerational holiday locations with facilities for all.

Summary: This house is charming and very comfortable. We were a large family group and the house has everything one needs for a good holiday for young and old. The pool was warm, even at the end of May, and was much used. All had a great time. John Whittaker

Summary: This was our favorite stop out of 3 rentals on this trip. It had everything we needed and a ton of quiet space to spread out and let the kids run and swim after the craziness of Paris. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. My kids are already asking when we can come back. About 35 minutes to start touring the WW2 beaches so it is a great home base. Thanks Nicolas for a great week!

Summary: We were two families of 5 who stayed here and we all loved it. Ages of the kids ranged from 7 - 12 years old and the property had everything we all needed. A massive garden for cricket, a gorgeous pool to cool down in as well as a pool house so we didn't need to keep trekking up and down the lawn, including plastic glasses! Everything was thought of and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The house itself is stunning with a charm of its own. Nicolas was also extremely helpful and attentive. A great holiday had by all.

Summary: Our family, consisting of 3 generations (6 adults and 1 child), stayed here for a week at the start of the summer holidays. The house is absolutely beautiful with large spacious rooms and is set gorgeous, peaceful grounds. (The pictures simply don't do it justice).The house is very comfortable, decorated in a traditional way that only adds to it's charm. It has everything you would want from a holiday home and more, there are plenty of little extras that we didn't expect (inflatables for the pool, books, outdoor games, games console, DVD's, toys, etc). The bedrooms are very comfortable, each decorated in it's own style, with ample storage space and they all overlook the amazing gardens and countryside. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you would need. The grounds are beautifully kept and afford stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The pool is lovely and a plenty big enough for the whole family to swim in. There are animals on the property that my young son enjoyed visiting and feeding every day (some of the animals are tame enough to eat out of your hand), we even had a few freshly laid eggs! The local town is very pretty and has plenty of little shops to explore. (There is also a supermarket fairly close by). The house is a relatively short drive to the coast (roughly 15 mins) where there are lovely sandy beaches and there are also plenty of lovely little villages to explore. (We recommend Honfleur and Deauville). The D-Day beaches are about an hour away if you wish to visit them. Nicolas is an excellent host. He replied very promptly to all our emails, usually within a couple of hours if not sooner. He made us feel very at home in his lovely house. His neighbours that also look after the house, grounds and animals were also very friendly and helpful. We whole heartedly recommend this house to anyone and we hope to come back again.

Summary: We, 2 families (4 kids) spent a wonderful week in this lovely and beautiful house. It is perfect for families, lots of space, huge garden a pool big enough to swim and animals! Summary: My husband and three 16 year old boys stayed at Nicolas' beautiful home and property. We didn't know what to expect but we're so pleased with what we got. The house was very clean, adorable and had everything we needed. I prepared several meals in the fully equipped kitchen because the boys were tired of eating out. The house was perfect and I can't wait to visit again. It is in the relaxing country but yet very close to a cute town, Pont- l'Eveque and the autoroute. Good restaurants in Pont- l'Eveque. The house is inside a private gated area and when the gates open you drive into a manicured fantasy world with sheep, chickens and geese. We walked the property in the evenings with a glass of wine and we able to let go of work, stress and just enjoy the perfect moments. Honfleur was 30 minutes away and the D-day beaches were 30 minutes the other direction. Our only issue was the wifi is very weak and slow. Our boys were going through withdrawals but on the other hand they read books and visited the animals. My husband and I own several business and unfortunately we do have to work even when on vacation. Not a bad trade-off though...I love to work but I love to travel also. Summary: A stunning house and really helpful owner with good English; we'd certainly go again. Lovely bright bedrooms combined with really French feeling living accommodation with massive stone open fireplace, stone tiled floors and big wooden dining table. Outside are extensive grounds of grass and shrubs with two fields for the sheep, geese and hens; our granddaughter enjoyed collecting the eggs. The southwest facing terrace is a great place to sit and eat or just relax in the deckchairs. The swimming pool and pool room at the top of the garden are beautifully positioned to catch the sun until late in the day. We spent a lot of time at the pool and lazing on the terrace as we were blessed with lovely sunny weather for most of our stay. The zoo at Cerza (11 miles) is really good and you are only 11 miles from the coast at Deauville. We also had lovely meals out at places we would recommend. The Auberge Le Clos Saint Julien is only 1.5 miles away and the food was really, really excellent and the staff very helpful. L’Ecole Buissonniere (The Truency School, great name) which was under new, very friendly management again had very good food and is only 8 miles away in Quetteville.
