Paradox Farm is famous in the Sandhills bucolic setting and warm hospitality.
Outside the door you’ll find goats, sheep, chickens, pigs and horses who love visitors and a scratch behind the ear .
Inside you’ll find all the amenities—fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, two full baths, air conditioning, internet, TV. There’s even an alarm clock (although, with our rooster, you might not need it).
The setting is miraculous—a picture-perfect farm, with clear, blue Carolina skies, where the piney Sandhills begin their transition to oak forest. At night, far from the city lights, the Milky Way dresses in its finest jewels.
You’re free to roam the farm, introduce yourself the to animals and enjoy all the sights and sounds of farm life. (If you want us to put you to work, you wouldn’t be the first person to ask, but insurance says no.)
Although we’re light years away from the bustle of city life, we’re just down the road from Pinehurst, with its legendary golf courses. Southern Pines, with its charming downtown and great dining is nearby, too.

Summary: We had a wonderful time staying at Sue's property. It was clean and accommodating. It was easy to communicate with Sue when we needed help or information. She is super kind and the animals at the farm were fun to listen to and watch. We had a lovely peaceful getaway and will definitely be back next time we need to escape from our kids :)

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay! The home was clean and we loved having the animals around to welcome us each morning. It was not far from restaurants or stores, but far enough out that it felt secluded.

Summary: We enjoyed our few days at the farm/creamery. The house was clean and set up beautifully for a family/friends group. The owner, Sue, was attentive to our needs and was a pleasure to work with! The real stars of this show were the precious animals!! Enjoyed our stay so much!! Thank you!!

Summary: We were looking for something other that the usual hotel setting to stay at while attending our Grandson's High School Graduation. This exceeded our expectations. Lovely house on a working goat (and other creatures) farm, peaceful, quiet and pretty setting. All the comforts of home but in a unique setting. Enjoyed seeing all the animals and our morning visits from Lucy the Puppie. Would certainly recommend and return. We appreciated Sue's hospitality.

Summary: Country life at it’s best. Quiet and relaxing. Very well kept house and surroundings. Sue, one of the owners, was very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. We will definitely stay there again.

Summary: Great place to relax and enjoy country life. The hosts were quite gracious and accessible, willing to spend time describing the animals. The kunekune being me favorite.

Summary: The stay was incredible. We had kids from 1yrs to 17 and they all loved the farm. Waking up to see goats, cows, chickens and pigs for the kids was an an incredible treat and thrill. Sue and Rob were great hosts. Let the little ones bottle feed the baby goats, toured us around the farm and made sure all was above par. Will stay again and recommend to all.

Summary: My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks at Sue’s beautiful hobby farm. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. Great place to relax quietly, read and reflect. The Farm is active with various programming which is offered to guest of this VRBO as alacarte experiences. Great place for a quiet getaway. Close to world class golf courses, so excellent choice for a golf vacation if one wants for more unique accommodations than local resorts offer. Will for sure be back!
