This 2-bedroom cottage is nestled on a wooded hillside overlooking a salt marsh in the Indian Neck area of Wellfleet. Wildlife abounds around the cottage, with regular sightings of rabbits, foxes, turtles, wild turkeys, and many types of songbirds. There are several other small cottages nearby on the hillside.
There is a large deck with a dining table that seats six, four Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill, as well as a fully-enclosed outdoor shower with hot water.
The open-plan living space has two sets of sliding doors that open up onto the deck, providing ample natural light. There is a small but well-equipped kitchen, renovated in winter 2023. Appliances include a full-size refrigerator, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and food processor. In the kitchen, you'll also find an AquaTru countertop reverse osmosis drinking water system that provides ultra clean water for drinking and cooking. A counter height table with seating for four is between the kitchen and living area. Two additional chairs are in the hallway closet.
The comfortable living area adjacent to the kitchen has a spacious sofa and two armchairs, along with a TV equipped with basic cable and a Roku device to connect your preferred streaming services. Three skylights in kitchen/living area provide extra light and open up to help cool the house throughout the day (there is air conditioning too!). Behind the cottage you’ll find an extra-large hammock surrounded by towering pitch pines.
The house has mini-split AC/heat units in each bedroom and in the main room to keep you comfortable on particularly hot or cold days. New luxury vinyl plank flooring installed in bedrooms in 2022; Pella sliding patio doors installed spring 2023.

Summary: After trouble getting key (PRINT instructions!), we had a good stay. Deck was too shady and buggy but indoors was fine. Kitchen is superbly outfitted for cooking.

Summary: Very tidy 2 BR cottage with 10 minute walk to bay beach and right on a marsh. Great for bird watchers and beach walkers - at low tide you can walk all the way around Indian Neck to Wellfleet harbor and loop back to the cottage.

Summary: Cozy cottage with a cool vibe stocked with all the comforts of home especially the well stocked kitchen. Cooking here was a delight! Includes a view of the marsh off the deck (which is a great place to hang) and a super short walk to a gorgeous small gem of a beach (Omaha Road Beach). There are loads of trails, beaches and places to explore nearby and the hosts info about all made it so much easier to find. The hosts are also extremely responsive and quick to help out with any questions. We will be back!

Summary: This is a beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed cottage that's just the right size for 3–4 people. The owners are friendly and very quick to respond to questions. The location is great. The air conditioning is spectacularly effective, which we particularly appreciated as it was oppressively humid the week we were there. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!
