Positive: The location was fab, large amount of space so didn’t feel crowded despite 12 guests. Clean just very basic. Could be a really wicked Airbnb if given a bit of love.

Negative: Facilities were just naff - and guests uncared for. Small things but that all added up - only 5 mugs for 12 adults, no tea towels, not enough washing up liquid and only 3 dishwasher tablets. The cafetière was one of those tiny single person ones. Again 12 adults. Only 6 chairs around the dining table so we couldn’t all eat together. Not enough toilet roll. No bin bags. Rug in the kitchen was an old shoddy bit of carpet that was fraying and gross. The 2 oven trays didn’t fit in the oven hilariously. The bush out the front was so overgrown you had to duck through to get in. Beds were uncomfortable. We were after somewhere cheap to use as a base while we were at Stokes Croft Block Party. For somewhere to get pissed in and drink a coffee out of a glass in the morning and feel like a student again it was great, if you wanna stay somewhere and spend more time inside and socialising, I’d find somewhere else.

Negative: BBQ wasn't very clean - we decided against using it in the end as a group.

Positive: well placed for buses to town and restaurants in Gloucester Road plenty of clean towels and bedding coffee and teabags and flowers in the kitchen plenty of glasses and crockery efficient heating system

Negative: traffic noise at the front bedroom smoke alarm in a drawer without battery recyling instructions on a high shelf only found when tidying on the last morning ironing board was not to be found no carpets in three bedrooms pin number had been changed mould in kitchen
