In the beautiful Dordogne, come spend your holidays in our 125 m² holiday cottage with pool covered with a roll away pool cover. Modern and warm, it is composed of a large very bright 70 m² room on the ground floor and an open plan kitchen, and large ensuite double bedroom and 2 en suite bedrooms on the first floor.
All fittings are provided to facilitate your stay and we are available to give you detailed advice and benefit from our contacts and experiences.
The living space consists of a dining room and a living room for relaxation with satellite television, Wi-Fi, DVD player and stereo system. Another part of this ground floor is a bedroom with very large comfortable bed 2m2 which can become two large single beds and a shower room with toilet.
The 2 bedrooms on the first floor are lovely and bright. Each bedroom suite has a bathroom with bath/shower and toilet. Each of these bedrooms has a single bed and 1 large double bed) with high quality bedding, folding cot, high chair and baby bath.
The fully fitted kitchen: dishwasher, microwave, cooking hob , oven , American refrigerator with large freezer compartment and all the necessary utensils to cook without forgetting the barbecue. You also have a washing machine and everything you need for your laundry.
Garden furniture is provided to enjoy the nature whether at aperitif or meal time.
Note that the direct access from the holiday cottage to the pool can be blocked by gates to prevent your children from going into the water without you.

Summary: A very comfortable and well equipped gite, there was everything we needed and the pool was fabulous. The owners were friendly and very knowledgeable, Andrew popped across every day to check in with us and gave some really good suggestions of things we could do. If you aren’t comfortable speaking French he also offered to help with reservations. We had a lovely fortnight and came home refreshed and ready to face the world again!

Summary: We had a fabulous week here- the gite is extremely comfortable and well equipped and was beautifully clean and the pool area was lovely too. Our hosts Andrew and Bridget were incredibly friendly and helpful with ideas of what to do in the region and couldn’t have done more for us during our stay. Location was really good for lots of different activities and situated in a beautiful part of France. Would highly recommend a stay here- we would love to come back! Great for a family or group of friends of all ages.

Summary: Many thanks for such a great stay. The villa and its amenities were fantastic. Very clean and a home from home one of the best villas for facilities I have stayed at. Andrew was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. There was plenty of room in the villa and probably the best beds I have slept in whilst away. Also the bedroom downstairs has a wall and not a curtain which it said in the villas description which we were a little worried about but there was no need to be. The area was quiet and there was a restaurant in St Rabier but the village itself was very quiet. The neighbouring village of Hautefort was lovely and we visited the chateau there and had something to eat. All was lovely. We had a wonderful time and we left feeling completely relaxed and recharged.

Summary: We had a lovely holiday. The house was clean, tidy, nicely furnished and well-equipped and is in a good location to get to a lot of interesting places. The owners, who are onsite, are very friendly and knowledgeable and were able to give a lot of advice on where to go and what to do. We wanted a relaxing break, so we didn't do very much. However, the highlight of the trip was attending the Fete de la Noix in Nailhac - a fantastic experience and one we would have missed without the local knowledge. The house was comfortable for four people (as we were) and six would have been fine. Any more than that would be a stretch and the curtained-off bedroom downstairs means that the accommodation needs careful thought. The pool was nicely maintained and at a pleasant temperature and there is a paved area around with chairs and loungers which we used quite a lot. There is a nice restaurant in St Rabier, but for most things we needed to get in the car, with supermarkets in Hautefort and Thenon and smaller shops a similar distance away.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Dordogne. The Gite is well equipped, lots of space and very nice decoration. The location is great to visit all around the dordogne with a car. The pool and gardens all around the gite are breathtaking!!! Andrew is a very warm and helpful host. He took care of all of our needs and wishes before we even asked... our 3 children and us were really sad to leave. It was fantastic and we will recommend our friends to stay there and hope we will come back and stay there again!!! Thank you Andrew and Bridgitte it was wonderful!!!!!! Kovos family

Summary: The property was a delight to discover; it was spacious and very well appointed and provided us with exactly the kind of accommodation we were looking for to suit the whole family. The en-suite bathrooms attached to each bedroom were a luxurious touch. All four of us loved having the meticulously maintained pool to relax by after our exploration of some of the picturesque neighbouring towns and villages and their markets. It was also therapeutic after our cycling and canoeing adventures. In addition, Andrew proved a warm and most enthusiastic host who was able to use his knowledge and expertise about the surrounding area to advise on a range of different activities available, as well as having lots of information about the history of the house and the local area. We were also blessed with great weather which made the week’s activities even more enjoyable. There were, of course, plenty of places to eat well in the area, for example in the more obvious touristy towns such as Sarlat, but the small hotel in the village also provided a delicious alfresco evening meal. We would have no hesitation in recommending this gite, but given its rural location a car is essential.

Summary: The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard and offers superb accommodation for up to 7 people. The facilities are great and the owners were excellent. There is plenty of space inside and good cooking facilities. The pool is shared with residents in the main house, but this did not cause any issues and the pool was locked up in the evenings giving privacy. The gardens are extensive and provided more than enough space for us and our dog. Location wise, it is well positioned about 40 minutes from the River Dordogne, Perigueux etc. Also recommend the restaurant in the village. Good food, reasonably priced. Recommend trying the local Perigord set menu - 5 courses all with good sized portions!
