Picture perfect Colonial with welcoming front porch offers charm and character throughout. Bright and sunny family room with columns leads to expansive dining room with custom built-ins. Modern kitchen includes granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and overlooks lovely fenced-in back yard with patio. Second floor offers three bedrooms (or two bedrooms and office) with hardwood floors and laundry room. Recently renovated lower level room can serve as a playroom or second office. Contemporary furnishings, with many items from our world travels. High speed Version FIOS internet and cable television, with 48" wall-mounted Samsung flat screen TV. High power air conditioning units for both downstairs and upstairs. Rental includes household bills (electricity, water, gas, internet, trash pick-up and landscaping services).
The location is delightful - a perfect balance of quiet leafy streets, nearby shops and public transport. Neighbors are very friendly. Highly suitable for a family with children, with excellent local schools, or for a couple seeking a relaxing location in touching distance of Boston. Within five minutes walk are several local shops and restaurants, a Starbucks and wine store (for those warm summer evenings on the porch). It is a 5 minute drive to Whole Foods and Market Basket supermarket shopping, as well as many other coffee shops, restaurants and stores. Also many local walking trails along nearby Charles River. In the winter time, the Weston X-Country Ski Track is within touching distance.
Easy commute to nearby universities (e.g. Wellesley College, Boston College) or downtown universities (e.g. Boston University, MIT, Harvard). 5 minutes walk (2 minute drive) to Wellesley Hills commuter rail train station, with 12 minute train ride into Boston (it takes me 35-40 minutes door-to-office to MIT on the train, 25-30 mins in the car). Also 1.4 miles to Woodside T-stop (4 minute drive) and very close to the junction between I-95 and I-90 for easy commute anywhere around Boston.

Summary: Beautiful home, on a quiet street but walkable to a small shopping area in Wellesley Hills. Perfect for our small family as the owners were kind enough to make available their crib as well as child gates at the top and bottom of the stairs.
