We are located on the tip of a peninsula and surrounded by peaceful Raymond Pond on 3 sides of property with the 4th side completely fenced in so your doggy friends can roam comfortably. The open concept common area includes dining, 2 sitting/living room areas and kitchen. Master bedroom has a full bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and 3rd bedroom has 1 twin bed with a full size bed in loft above. Outdoor space is large and accommodating. Spacious deck overlooking water with propane grill. Sandy waterfront with steps down to water entry. Owner provides rowboat, canoe and dock for recreational use; (boat launch is located just before property and open to those residing on island). Enjoy roasting smores over firepit or at the stone fireplace. Summary: The location is beautiful. On a peninsula that overlooks a clean pond. The camp had a strong mold/ mildew smell. So much so that we left a day early. We did notify the owner. She was apologetic. The furniture was supported by plywood (couch and chair) the outside had trash around it. The biggest issue is the smell. It is very strong and strongest in the bedroom that has the only double bed. I could not recommend this until the issues are attended to.

Summary: We had an amazing stay – the house was exactly as described and the property was even better than the listing let on. Gorgeous. Would love to return!

Summary: This is a classic Maine cottage. What super makes this enjoyable is the property. You have no neighbors from the back deck and its very quiet. We met a couple of neighbors who appreciated our jazz musician son who made it extra special. We plan on going back.
