Summary: The house and the pool were clean, and the place was lovely. However, we hadn’t got privacy. Owners come and go whenever they wanted, saying they needed to “fix things” (those things should be fixed before…). We asked them once to come for the gas because both the kitchen and the hot water worked with gas (they said they refilled it at the beginning). It was OK, they filled it again. But have this in mind if you go with a lot of people. On the website they say that they speak Spanish but they don't talk to much in Spanish and we have to talk in english. The owner and the person who attend us wasn't the same person. On the worst side, they tried to charge the deposit without reason (no photos or other proof) and not answering why was that. Basically, they tried to deceive and swindle us 300€.

Summary: This is a really lovely villa in very quiet development overlooking a quiet town. The owners clearly love the property, and air-con in every bedroom is extremely welcome. The barbeque area is fantastic, there's a great mix of sun and shaded areas around the property and enough private space if you want some time to yourself. For future guests, I would recommend asking lots of questions in the build up to your holiday. The villa is split into two self-contained units (very common), but the listing doesn't explain this. We booked the villa as a group of five (one couple, three single people), but the owners assumed that we would only need three of the five advertised bedrooms and hadn't realised we would need both 'parts' of the villa. It was relatively quickly resolved when we arrived to check in, but we were very grateful for our Spanish speaking friend! I'm absolutely certain that had we spoken with the owners more in the build up, we could have solved it in advance, it was just a communication mix up. The local Spanish team were also very nice to deal with and keen to tell us about Orba and the fiesta that was happening that week. Thank you for letting us use your home, we'd love to come back again!
