Beautiful character property built in the mid 1800’s. Just a 10 minute walk to the station, which takes you to London Euston in 30 minutes or Watford Junction in 12 minutes for the world famous Harry Potter Studio tour.

The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 reception rooms. There is a cosy snug with corner sofa and TV, a dining room off the kitchen and a living room with 2 comfy sofas and large bay window.

Summary: Very well presented property. Its a great size house for both living and bedroom space and convenient for the town. Lots of useful information provided in the guest folder. There are lots of great places to eat and drink in Berkhamsted, plus we enjoyed visits to Tring and Aldbury. Tring park is a great place to walk. Note that when walking back from town the final 150m of the walk up to the property is steep. Ally as host was very quick to respond to my questions and extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely weekend.

Summary: This is a beautiful, perfect condition house with a lovely garden located in a small village with lots of great restaurants and a canal walkway. The train station wasn’t far down the hill into town. We are glad we stayed outside of London in this quieter area. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: Wonderfully comfortable house to stay in with old friends. Everything is modern and clean and well kept. Just a short walk to the train station to get you to wherever you want to go.

Summary: Great property. Perfect for adults and families. Lots of nice touches such as a welcome pack and books and dvds for the kids. The house was spotless and well maintained and all the amenities required. A peaceful location just 10 minutes walk into Berkhamstead with a pub just down the road. Excellent, easy links to London and Harry Potter Tour. A great base to explore the local area. Thanks to Ally who gave us all the information required.

Summary: Millfield Lodge Fantastic stay! Great location and somewhere peaceful to relax after our busy days out to Whipsnade, Harry Potter and shopping in London. Wonderful facilities and surroundings with great places to eat and drink too. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at the property - house is perfectly equipped, homely and in great condition. Location is great with an easy walk to the town and supermarkets. Ally was a perfect host - quick to respond, never intrusive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here and hope to stay again ourselves.

Summary: Loved our stay at this beautiful property. The house and grounds were lovely, super clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The location is fantastic too, just moments away from all the shops and restaurants, and pubs. Would definitely like to stay here again in the future!
