Positive: Stayed in the cottage for a few days for work. It was in a good location for where we needed to be, and the price was good. Rooms are comfortable and the cottage was cosy during a few quite cold days.

Negative: After booking, I received an excessive number of messages/emails from the Sykes Holiday Cottages via Booking, who manage the property. In the 3 months between booking and actually staying in the cottage, I received more than 30 emails about the stay. These were almost all just duplicates of the same two messages/emails. It was increadibly annoying and has detered me from booking anything managed by Sykes in the future.

Positive: Everything. The decor, the colours, the beds were super comfortable. There was nothing we needed that was not supplied. Thought the night light on the steps and by the front door was especially helpful. Corbridge is charming.

Negative: Only the weather, so much rain!

Summary: My friend and I came for a 60th celebration and we had a fabulous weekend in this delightful cottage
