Positive: A lovely boutique hotel in a stunning location with gorgeous mountain views and fabulous rooms, about a 45 minute drive from central Chiang Mai. While we had booked what looked to be a lovely suite, we were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade due to "an issue" in our room, which meant we ended up in the Honeymoon Suite, which was stunning. The hotel dinning room is a lovely room with a fabulous view across the hotel's swimming pool to the mountains beyond. I had the most delicious Massaman curry I have ever eaten. The breakfast is very good with a small self-service selection and an additional choice of cooked food from the menu.

Negative: There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Summary: Perfect for couples, very romantic, with lovely rooms, delicious food and a fabulous view

Positive: The setting was lovely. Our room was big and the view was amazing. It had a sense of luxury.

Negative: The facilities were a little worn down and you had to go through the restaurant to get to the pool.

Positive: + Silent place in the forest area where you can hear only comfortable animal noises + very kind hotel crew + good tasty food + a place to calm down and relax purely

Negative: - Aircondition sometimes didn't react properly while remotely controlling - eventhough the location is amazing , the distance to the city center is quite big with 35-45 mins

Positive: I like literally everything of this beautiful place. The location is amazing right between the mountains, the view is stunning and the rooms are fabolous The staff and the manager are lovely, we had a ice bath and a cooking class which were both very well organized.

Positive: Lets start with the size of the room... Wowww it was huge probably the biggest hotel room ive stayed in, the bed was large and super comfortable, the room decor was beautiful and stylish and beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony.

Negative: Location was not very good there is absolutely nothing to do near by with just one local village store at the bottom of the hill, if you dont have your own transport your pretty screwed as a taxi or bolt will take 50 minutes to reach you. The water in the room was filthy it was dark brown in the toilet, sink and shower, you had to leave the water run for 30 minutes to clear but still it smelt dirty, staff where helpful but seem very shy and nervous to talk to you, absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. Food was extremely average at best and breakfast was terrible. The pool was in a awkward location right beside the restaurant it felt awkward to swim there while people are eating. We checked out a day early as we felt we were just wasting our time there.
