Positive: The outdoor hot tub, the heated water beds in the relaxation room. The terrace to have a coffee and so great to be able to wear your Robe all day even for lunch, a very chilled environment with a luxury experience can’t wait to come again. Everyone is friendly and welcoming a great experience for a trip away on your own to recharge.

Positive: We liked the room and the view, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful.

Negative: Minor details. A whole in the wall, no plugs by the bed, blown window's. In the bedroom. This is just me picking holes.

Positive: Start to finish was perfect, Olivia was extremely helpful and so welcoming an absolute asset to Champneys. The surroundings of the hotel being by lake was absolutely beautiful and calming. The restaurant and all the facilities were amazing especially the outdoor hot tub and in the relaxation room there is lie down water beds. Has everything to offer to feel deeply relaxed and the yoga class with candlelit experience was lovely. I had been extremely poorly for two years and this was exactly what I needed to feel so much better and to celebrate my birthday. 5 stars perfection, can’t wait to come back.

Negative: Just the outdoor hot tub bubbles were a bit temperamental with not working on the lie down area. It was still very relaxing.

Negative: Needs massive investment into renovation. The elevators had no lights at times. The balconies and windows had massive bite of paint peel off. Not enough changes in menu of you stay for more than a few days

Positive: I have been to the property several times and normally stay for a few days. However, on this occasion, I just stayed on the bed and breakfast option. We did include dinner in our stay and had the privilege of James‘s services. He was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. I would give him five stars! Highly recommend and I’ll be back soon

Negative: Always a relaxing stay as the spa facilities are brilliant.

Summary: As always, it’s lovely, which is why I continue to come.

Negative: Lots of confusion on checking in. Room was not made up and not cleaned properly. It had not been vacuumed and one bedside table was missing. There were also hairs in the bath. Breakfast was way below par, having visited other Champneys locations. This is a shame, seeing as the facilities are so lovely.
