Positive: A fantastic location about 20 mins from Ouistreham Port. We stayed here over the D Day 81st anniversary due to its proximity to Pegasus Bridge, Ranville and the Merville Battery and we were not disappointed. Within easy reach by car of the eastern end of the DDay beaches and museums this was perfect. Located adjacent to the Sannerville drop zone we also drove to Bayeux to see the tapestry and Mont St Michel which was a little further (approx 2hrs) but easily achievable. The hosts were excellent and really lovely people. They spoke very little English however we managed to get by using Translate as well as some basic French phrases which we enjoyed as it was good practice. Breakfast was great and was flexible to our timings. The hosts were also keen to know what else we would have wanted for breakfast to suit our needs. WiFi was good as was the bedroom which had one double and one single bed which was perfect for me and my daughter. The room was clean and the bathroom and shower facilities were good. Parking was just down the road approx 25m and there was always a space free. Thank you. We will visit again!

Positive: We felt very welcome by the hosts, a nice couple. A separate room on the 2 floor with a separate bathroom. Nice breakfast was served in the morning (fresh croissants, juice, tea, yogurts). The beds were comfy. We had a nice relaxing stay. The place is about 15 mins drive to Caen and approx. 30 mins to the beach.
