Positive: Absolutely amazing experience staying here. The hosts were the kindest people. The grounds were amazing. The suite was large, clean and well kept with many fascinating things inside. The children's room was adjoined to ours with a modern shared bathroom. The estate is beautiful with horses in the Paddocks and a cat who the children loved. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade foods and fruits grown on the grounds. The whole family loved this stay. It is very reasonably priced for the experience you get.

Negative: Nothing really. It is a short drive into the centre of town (15 mins) with easily available parking and a range of fabulous restaurants to choose from. You'd need a car.

Summary: Wonderful stay in a peaceful retreat not far from Caen centre.

Positive: Wonderful warm welcome. Exquisite location and property. Safe secure parking on site. Lovely breakfast much of it home made/home grown. Good Wi-Fi. Room was cool without ac.

Negative: Lack of clothing storage in the room.

Positive: Location good; nice owners of elderly couple, free parking, clean. Premises are old but room is renovated. Breakfast is decent ( croussaints, jam, yougurt, cerals) like anywhere in B&B basis in French style

Negative: Bed linen was perfectly clean, white and pleasant. However towels have to be replaced for more fresh. Adfitional shampoo would be nice to have.

Positive: Superb accommodation in a convenient location; hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic - homemade yogurt, Financiers, jams....we were spoilt rotten! Just for awareness, there was a little background traffic noise in the garden but it was nothing that can be heard in the house - it goes with the convenience of the location.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: A perfect start to our holiday. Beautiful and secluded location on the edge of Caen.
