Positive: We loved it there. It was so perfect. We had breakfast every morning in the garden and Claire (the lovely French lady who owned it) made many of the homemade treats. She was so helpful. She called and made reservation for the best restaurants, gave us maps, etc. it was just what our psyche needed after being in Paris for a week. So French, C’est si bon!

Summary: Perfect spot for us! We loved it. Not too far from Chambord & Cheverny.

Positive: This is a gem in a little town around 6kms from Chateau Chambord. It was a wonderful experience with Claire providing a homemade and drinks for our arrival. She also organised a booking in a restaurant just 100m away. Claire couldn't be more helpful and such an interesting person. It was a pleasure having a shower in which we could move. No tiny cubicle which is so common in France

Negative: The wi-fi was a bit slow but everything else far outweighed this

Positive: Claire provided us with a warm welcome. There was secure parking and everything was thought of and available. The location is excellent close by to two restaurants and the Chambord Chateau is only a few KMs drive away. The bed was very comfortable and a fantastic breakfast was provided. Positive: Fabulous breakfast spread, with 100% bio/organic products. Nothing is too much for Claire, who also has many interesting stories to tell, especially about her rich and varied life. Very peaceful and a good feeling about the house and garden. Very nice, big bed.

Negative: We were there for a short stay. Unfortunately, it rained, and we thought that if you were staying for longer and couldn't take advantage of the outside areas, the size of the room could be a problem.

Positive: Breakfast was brilliant. We even cooked our own breakfast . Claire was very kind to accomodate that for us. SHe even took us around to the river side and we had glass of wine with her firend by the river. Overall it was an awesome feel @ home experience with Claire. Love you Claire !
