Positive: The location is close to hiking around, the cabin is very cute, there is a place to cook, there is a washing machine. The hostess is lovely and she cared about us very much and asked what we needed.

Negative: It's not that we didn't like it, but if you made a choice on Booking that you want to pay at the property, then know that it's cash only!!!!

Positive: The best Oladyi you will ever taste- cooked by Laura the owner. She served us an enormous amount of delicious food for dinner and breakfast 😋 But nothing can overcome her Oladyi, recommended. The chalet is new, with a nice view of the gardens with cows, ducks, turkeys, and what not- a quiet farm life. Nice kitchen inside, comfortable beds, good walk-in shower. A washing machine is also available.

Negative: 1. Lack of netting on the windows- we don't care much about flies, but mosquitoes and bees can also enter the house. 2. Lack of blackout curtains, at least for the upper bedroom. 3. One socket near the dining table is short-circuiting. Please block it somehow or put up a sign. We are lucky that our laptop has short-circuit protection. But if we charged something else- it could cause serious damage. 4. 5he bathroom is slippery, maybe an anti-slipp mat will solve the problem. Overall a nice chalet. Just a few small things.

Positive: Everything was perfect. Our hosts were an adorable family who kindly allowed early check-in and waited for us at the chalet. Check-in was quick and easy. The chalet was very clean, with comfortable beds, a small but nice shower room, and a well-equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed: sofa, chairs, table, television, all in good condition. Outside, we enjoyed a hammock, chairs, flowers, apple and grape trees, and even a fire pit (which we didn’t expect). The family kindly offered to light a fire for us, cut extra wood, and even brought us a carafe of red wine. They let us pick a few apples too. The family was so generous and welcoming that we felt truly at home. It was the best stay of our trip, and we highly recommend this place. We would come back anytime.

Negative: The door of the chalet doesn't lock well. I'd suggest to look into that.

This place is an absolute gem nestled in the beautiful Georgian countryside. The chalet is even more charming in person than in the photos. It's beautifully built with wood and stone, offering a perfect blend of rustic feel and modern comfort. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we had a peaceful, uninterrupted sleep - exactly what we needed after a day of exploring the canyons and waterfalls. While one night was too short, it was the perfect base for visiting the famous Martvili Canyon and other nearby attractions. It offers incredible value for such a unique and high-quality experience. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend Chalet Martvili to anyone looking for a tranquil and authentic stay in this gorgeous region of Georgia.

Positive: Lovely new property in quiet rural setting next to main house. Attentive host who was able to offer home cooked traditional dinner one night of our stay. A/c worked amazing which was welcome in summer.

Negative: Rural setting so expect insects but nothing that could not be fixed by some bug spray.

Summary: Quiet setting just about 20 min drive from Martvili canyon or 30 from Okatse.

Positive: the place was fantastic, the place feels like you live in a fairy tail, the place has a very unique style and design, very authentic, the place is quiet and is full of a nature beauty a great place to rest, the location was very clean and arranged ,the breakfast they gave us was very delicious and rich, the hosts were amazing, very kind, and were very caring and generous to their guests, definitely was worth it and will go back there in the close future.
