Positive: It is a beautiful place. Well worth staying there. Our rooms were spacious with beautiful decor, big beds with clean bedding. We also had a little fridge freezer which was helpful. There's a kitchen where we made coffee and enjoyed it sitting outside on the veranda. The host was lovely and very helpful.

Negative: This has nothing to do with the property, but I would like to make people aware that the road getting into Barcut and also leaving Barcut is absolutely terrible . I would never drive that way again until the road was sorted. For a long part of the road I had to drive with around 10 km/h because of the amount of potholes. It is honestly terrible, I've never seen anything like it . Please have a decent car if you really want to go that way or your car will be wrecked 😔 ( I was so lucky I wasn't in my VW polo and I had borrowed a Citroen Berlingo) The internet signal inside the property is not great. Didn't bother us , though, because we enjoyed sitting on the veranda where the signal was good.

Positive: Super relaxing stay in a quite remote and tranquil village. The host lady cooked a delicious dinner and breakfast for us. We enjoyed board games in the old barn, hammocks and garden. Best stay in Transylvania.

Positive: Nice location and fresh air. Very good communication with the host. The house is converted from an old stable in a guesthouse. The room was big with an ensuite bathroom. We liked the bidet in the bathroom. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge without freezer, a cooker without an oven and a microwave. We spent quality time in the yard for breakfast and dinner.

Negative: The private parking is not inside the yard of the property and we have to park outside, in front of the house. So, we carried all the luggage on gravel by hand from the parking spot. We received info about the check in 1 day before the arrival regarding the parking (too late to cancel the booking). We were well advised to buy food before the check in. The surprise was the fridge without freezer. We were lucky we did not buy any meat for the next day.

Positive: You felt like in childhood at grandparents in this place. In a quiet, nice and cosy place. The room was so nice and both the room and bathroom were clean. The old and new style was blended so nice. You could also use the kitchen or you can make a barbecue outside. There was also a barn which was so cool. Inside of the barn there was a ping pong table and an outside living room. You can also you the bikes from the property. Close to the property there are some small markets from where you can buy some food. There is also a private lavender field in a property in viciat. And, very important, outside of the Chalet Giuel property is the country side itself with its vibe and relaxed mood and with the nice and welcoming people. The property owners were really kind with us giving us all the information we needed before our staying and also during our staying via messages. We had a really nice time at this place.
