Positive: This was our second time staying at Chalet Esmeralda—we first came for New Year's Eve, and returning this August was just as incredible. The hospitality from Natalie and Jocelyn makes all the difference. They are so warm and welcoming, ensuring you have everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable getaway. The chalet itself is exceptionally cozy and exceptionally well-equipped. During our summer stay, we fully took advantage of the lake. Having kayaks made available directly by the hosts made exploring the water effortless and fun. An unforgettable stay from start to finish—we can't wait to return again!

Positive: Cottage is extremely well appointed, very clean and located in a beautiful part of the Eastern Townships. Close to Parc Megantic where we had a wonderful walk. Very quiet spot! We felt so lucky to have found it and hope to stay here again!!
Negative: We loved everything but guests should be aware that the chalet is not located directly on a private beach. They have a private beach, across a very quiet road (cul-de-sac), a short walk from the chalet. It did not affect us as it was not beach weather while we visited. We had dinner on the patio,though, in front of the cottage!
Summary: Suited us to a tee!
