Positive: We loved everything about our 2 week stay in the West apartment of Chalet Bim Chilchli, and we would absolutely love to stay here again someday. Our 2 young adult sons had their own bedrooms and we also had our own room (all with comfortable beds). We so enjoyed the mountain views from the many windows of the upstairs bedrooms and main floor living area, and we loved having a balcony. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the dishes and utensils we needed. The COOP market nearby was great to have so we could prepare most of our own meals, and the funicular, train, and gondolas were so easy to get to. We loved having a washing machine and our clothes dried overnight. By staying in Murren for 2 weeks & getting a summer pass for the gondolas we could decide when & where to go based on the weather. It was our first visit to Murren, and we hated to leave. We would love to go back someday and stay in this same place. It was a wonderful experience and a terrific place to stay.

Negative: The only downside was the staircase between main level and the bedrooms. It was fine for 3 out of 4 of us, but my son with cerebral palsy (and reduced mobility) would have preferred a staircase without any turns. (He was glad that the upstairs bathroom had a tub option for him.) Other than his experience of the staircase, we liked everything about Chalet Bim Chilchli's West apartment!

Summary: 10 out of 10 and we'd love to go back

Positive: Perfect location centrally located in Murren. We loved the views from the deck and living room! It was great having a washer and the drying rack worked out very well, washing at night all was dry by morning. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds and pillows were very comfy. We would definitely stay there again!

Negative: Would have been nice to have more than one trash bag but we managed with grocery bags. Some of us were hot at night. Opening windows mostly did the trick, maybe fans in the bedroom would be helpful. Mostly no real complaints.

Positive: The property was excellent. Close to everything with tremendous views. Host was available and helpful.

Negative: We did not like the material of the fitted sheets on the beds. Some sort of synthetic fabric and it was very rough against the skin, and very hot when combined with body heat. The weather was hotter than usual during our stay and no a/c so cotton sheets would've been so much cooler and much more comfortable.

Summary: Excellent property and host. Highly recommend!
