Positive: It was incredible! The hosts were so welcoming and hospitable! The lodge is like a little corner of paradise - a birder and nature lovers dream. Erik took us on amazing kayaking and boat tours, as well as helped us spot birds in the huge garden. He also took us for an afternoon cool off swim in the river. We saw a sloth, monkeys, caimans, tons of birds, and more. There are large parrots nesting in the tree in the garden! And Alba was so accommodating of our special dietary needs (kosher) and made us gorgeous fruit platters and drinks every morning.

Positive: If you look for something more authentic and personal , lots of jungle around , and home made delicious food . This is a great guesthouse to stay. Alba and Eric are great hosts and do there best to give you the best experience They have comfortable beautiful little cottages with an amazing view over the river. They offer tours I really did enjoy the trip on the small boot and the kano trip . Eric seems to know all birds and animals. In front of the house you also can swim in the river .

Positive: The meals were the best we had in Panama! The location is amazing to experience a piece of the jungle with river access.
Negative: We sadly picked our trip around carnaval weekend.. it was very festive outside, I wish we had less human loud and more wildlife loud at night.

Positive: The hosts were wonderful people, the meal provided was very good and we loved the boat ride to the canal and monkey island
Negative: My husband was unhappy about the lack of air conditioning, I felt the fans and air flow was quite comfortable

Positive: Wonderful view on the Chagres river on the edge of the Soberania national park. Kayaking near the rivers edge we saw amazing birds and monkeys. Truly a jungle experience.
Negative: Even with no air-conditioning it was comfortable to sleep.
