Positive: The food in the evening was absolutely amazing! The French Breakfast was very good. Great location, enough to do in the area and at the accommodation itself with the swimming pool. It is remarkable that they opened only a couple of months ago, so the experience can even improve in time.
Negative: It was overall a great stay, if we would stay here again we would request a less high floor because we visited with a dog.

Positive: The property is in a beautiful location. We had an amazing dinner sitting on the grass under the trees (I am still thinking about the fabulous cucumber gazpacho soup). There were lovely staff who were very friendly and made us feel at home and our dog was also very welcome. We had a lovely,relaxing stay.

Positive: The couple that have taken over this place really make you feel welcome. Great spot, super tranquil. The local food that they cook for you is superb and great value. Aircon in each room makes for a comfortable stay in any weather.

Positive: My wife and I recently stayed at Chateau Puygrenier for the weekend. We had what can only be described as an AMAZING time. The Chateau is under the new management of a lovely couple called Roman & Caroline. They made us feel unbelievably welcome and ensured we wanted for nothing. The rooms in the chateau are perfectly decorated with air conditioning for the extreme hot weather we had during our trip. There is a small pool which was great to cool down and families staying there were also making good use. We had a 3 course meal and wine one of the nights which was so tasty and perfect! 👌 Roman & Caroline both speak perfect English which helped in between me trying my French! The chateau is very close to St Emilion, Bergerac, Bordeaux and others. I would highly recommend a stay at this property. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Positive: Our room was in the attic with beautifully restored timber beams. Although we spoke hardly any French and Pascal spoke hardly any English, he was so pleasant and welcoming. Lovely nature and always happy and smiling. You could tell he was proud of the Chateau. They also kindly offered an evening meal although we arrived on the night the restaurant was closed. The breakfast in the morning was great served our the friendly host, Pascal. This was a good option for our stop over on the way to Lourdes.
Negative: We would have preferred a room with windows and not just skylight as I am bit claustrophobic. Lots of stairs to our room.
