Positive: The personalisation and the ambience of the place.
Negative: Eating was not allowed in the room I booked. The owner notified me about this well in advance. There was no option to get a meal from the chateau’s kitchen. I could have ordered my own from an external restaurant but it would have too much with the delivery and I usually like having dinner in the hotel which I stay in.
Summary: Unique, beautiful and calming.

Positive: We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the stunning grounds. The whole property was so beautiful and quaint. Our bedrooms were also decorated beautifully. The rooms were also a completely blackout dark for our children for sleep ins in the mornings. Our hostess was so so friendly and nice. She was funny and loved to chat and nothing was a problem. We arrived 2 hours early and she knew this and had our room ready. She baked us cakes and breads every morning for our breakfast. The pool area is absolutely picturesque and it was so beautiful we stayed by the pool for two whole days without leaving. It was nice and quiet with one other family at the pool and often to ourselves. We were also the only family for breakfast in the gorgeous garden every morning.
Negative: It is not located near any cute villages or towns. Also on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening there is only one nice restaurant open for miles so this was difficult for lunch and dinner. I would stay Wednesday to Sunday or get the self catering villas. However this would not stop us from staying here again as it is such a gorgeous place.
Summary: A very beautiful and well appointed chateaux with quaint and stunning grounds and pool with a delightful hostess for a p
