Positive: An incredible atmosphere of hospitality created by the owner of the property. A unique breakfast by the fireplace served with silver tableware that is over 200 years old. So many details, antiques, and history everywhere — a truly impressive place. In addition, everything was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. The area surrounding the house is absolutely stunning. I would gladly return again — I felt as if I were living inside some wonderful film. This place exceeded all expectations and created the warmest and most memorable impression of Normandy!

Positive: Jean-René is an enthusiastic and entertaining host and listening to his stories is part of the experience The chateau is tastefully modernised throughout - and yet it still carries a lot of history rooms and especially bathrooms are spacious Great loacation in the heart of eastern Normandy

Negative: No WiFi - 5G at 50% max Beds are very soft and and the covers are a bit smelly Please bear in mind that this is a B&B, not a hotel - so at this price point, you cannot expect 'Relais & Chateau' amenities

Whether you’re a history lover or just looking for a unique and romantic getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. We left feeling rejuvenated and inspired by the beauty and history of this magnificent château. The breakfast was magnificent! The owner of Chateau was incredibly welcoming! Thank you so much for all special moments, teinture de cassis, music we have during the breakfast, fireplace, and all stories shared with us.
