Positive: Fabulous large bed on the 3d floor (lift goes to 2nd). Dog friendly. Lovely grounds. We chose not to have breakfast as early start kindly offered complimentary coffee. Secure parking. Food is delicious however please see comments below.

Negative: The restaurant is in a separate building to the hotel across car park. It is a la carte/set menu E55 per head plus. We did not realise this when booking. We would have preferred low key supper. Restaurant staff not very welcoming when we queried choice. French gin in restaurant. International gin in bar at hotel - the weakest measure I have ever had.
