Positive: The king room is very nice, we loved the terrace in front and the easy access to the garden for our dog. The room was very confortable and the bathroom very nice.
Negative: The restaurant, although the food was delicious, the portion were very small for the price we paid and not the best setting for people with kids. The second thing was it was very cold in our room during the night and the heating was off.
Summary: Very noce and confortable

Positive: The location and the chateau are beautiful, very elegant with being an old style chateau. Lovely and peaceful surroundings. Free type 2 EV charging points, rooms are very tall and airy with AC in them. All in all it was a pleasant experience but not outstanding.
Negative: Glad we didn't pay for breakfast and dinner all week as for £22 pp for breakfast daily, there wasn't a lot to offer, some kind of sausage, bacon? And scrambled egg was only hot food available when we had it on our last day. Plenty of pastries to have but didn't feel very fresh. Would have loved to use the on site dining restaurant but found it was a limited menu of mainly fish based of which my wife doesn't like, there was 1 duck option on there. Reading reviews and a lot of people stated that it was ok food but small portions and a bit expensive. The EV charging points are 1st come 1st served, which in its self isn't a problem, its just some guests were leaving there cars plugged in all day despite them being fully charged. When you check in and mention the chargers, they remind you that if you could unplug it as soon as its charged so other people can use them.

Positive: The hotel was very dog-friendly, and we could even take our dog to the pool area. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The grounds around the château were beautiful, lush, and exceptionally well maintained. We had a very relaxing stay.
Negative: There was only one restaurant on-site, and reservations were required in advance. There were no other dining options available, which was a bit limiting.
Summary: A wonderful and peaceful stay, kind staff and beautiful surroundings.

Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Hotel looks very attractive.
Negative: No dinner alternative to gastronomy restaurant €55pp very disappointing. Not ideal for children. We ate in a local pizza cafe/takeaway on an industrial estate, which we didn’t expect to have to do in a beautiful chateau. Beautiful bathroom spoilt by cheap shower head.
Summary: Style over substance, thankfully we only booked one night
